At Oakapple Designs Ltd we specialise in producing reproduction artefacts produced from moulds taken directly from original woodcarvings. We produce these replicas with all the fine detail captured from the original and with a very realistic and authentic feel that is virtually indistinguishable from the original carving.
Most of our work is firstly done on location in the Cathedrals, Abbeys and Castles where we take impression moulds directly from the carvings. These are then taken to our workshop where a master pattern is produced from these moulds and then production moulds are then taken from these masters.
We can offer this service to any one interested, this would be of most interest and appropriate to Cathedrals, Abbeys, Stately Homes, Castles and other places of public interest. If you have a retail outlet at any of these venues and would like copies of your original carvings producing or simply sell items from our collection, this would be most appropriate and of interest to you.
We can produce anything from small orders and one off pieces through to large regular batch productions and reproductions can be produced exclusively for your organisation only. As well as taking moulds from original historic carvings we can have pieces commissioned for you by one of a number of woodcarvers and sculptors we regularly use.
Again these can be one off pieces exclusive to yourselves or large regular batch productions for retail sales.
