Our unique range of giftware has been made from moulds that have been taken directly from the original medieval carvings found within the Cathedrals & Abbeys of England.  The Cathedrals and ecclesiastic buildings from the medieval period are lavishly adorned & richly decorated inside with these beautiful carvings.  Such Medieval carvings include depictions of Medieval Knights jousting, people & caricatures and beautiful carvings of Angels & Cherubs. Many of the carvings are more pagan in origin, such as the Green Man, dragons and other wonderful mythical creatures, while many others are of a more gothic nature & design.

Oakapple Designs have exclusive permission from the Cathedrals to produce these reproduction medieval carvings, which include many variations of the pagan Green Man, medieval Knights, Gothic Bats, Mythical creatures and ecclesiastic Angels. Such Cathedrals from where they originate from include Lincoln Cathedral, Worcester Cathedral, Ripon Cathedral, Beverley Minster and Cartmel Priory to name but a few.
