Poacher Corbel. Taken from the medieval carvings found on the misericords and supporters in the choir stalls of Beverley Minster. This small carving is of a poacher carrying a large bird that he's caught over his shoulder. This is a fine example of every day life as it was in the middle ages. Taken from the original carving capturing the fine detail done by the medieval craftsmen that carved this piece. Designed to be wall mounted, comes with hanging hook. Size (H) 5.5cm x (W) 6cm. |
