Angel playing Bagpipes. Taken from the beautiful and ornate carvings found upon the high supports of the Knights seats found within the Thistle Chapel of St. Giles Cathedral of Edinburgh. The Thistle Chapel was completed in 1911 and the carvings took two brothers just over two years to complete. This magnificent piece is of an Angel playing the Scottish Bagpipes. This is a true piece of master craftsmanship and skill. This replica has been taken directly from the original, which captures the rich and fine detail applied and found on the original carving.
